Welcome back!

Can it really be that time of year again? For most school-aged children, summer is officially over and it is back to school time. Ah, the excitement of it all 🙂

I received an order from an elementary teacher who wanted to welcome her students back to school. What better way to do that than with an apple?

An apple cake pop of course! What I would have given to have a teacher like that 😉

I hope all those kiddos loved them and started off the new school year in a delicious way!

Babies, babies, babies!

I feel like there has been a baby boom in my neck of the woods; all it seems like I’ve been doing the past month is making cake pops that are welcoming little ones into the world!

The first set was for my dear friend and her baby, R. I brought these to them when I went to visit the little one.

I LOVE this color combo, the teal and black look so great together (AND work for any of those San Jose Sharks fans!)! This set included swirls, stars, monograms, and R’s name written on the cake pops. So cute! Welcome to the world, R! 🙂

The next order was for little baby C’s mama. I again went with the teal and did light pink. I did some more swirls, hearts, and drew little baby carriages on the cake pops.

Congrats L on your beautiful little girl!

Last up was little baby B. I wanted to congratulate her mama and family, so these are what I came up with: swirls, sprinkles, polka dots of white pearl sprinkles, and baby carriages.

Congrats S on your beautiful little one! 🙂

British and American Wedding

I was so excited to get this order. Not only was it from an old elementary school friend (hi J!!), but it was such an awesome concept. J and her fiance are getting married in England in October, but had an American reception for those who can’t attend the big day. So what better to do than a USA/Great Britain themed party??

J wanted a display of cake pops shaped into an American flag and a British flag, and I happily agreed. I was so excited to set up the display. I think they turned out great and really gave the party a little something extra 🙂 And how fitting is the British flag with the Olympics going on at the same time??

Thanks so much for the order, J, and all the best to you and C on your big day! 🙂

Saying “Thank You” with Legos

This order was for a very dear boy to me who spent an amazing week with his aunties. He is a major Lego lover, so their week was Lego themed, complete with a trip to Lego Land.

As a sign of his appreciation, I was asked to send some thank you cake pops to the hostesses, so keeping with the theme, I sent Legos of course!
