For a Special Friend

These cake pops were a special order for a special friend. One of my very good friends, M, is dating T. Five years ago, T had to undergo a kidney transplant. Since it was a milestone anniversary for T, M wanted to make it extra special for him.

If you have read my blog before, you know that I get a lot of ideas/inspiration from the cake pop queen, Bakerella herself. She also recently received a kidney transplant, so she came up with these darling kidney cake pops.

M thought these would be great to celebrate T’s anniversary, so I gladly made them. Hopefully they added a little something extra to a very special day.

Happy anniversary, T!

Colors that Pop

I’m going to be honest, I fell in looooooooove with these cake pops. I think it’s because they are so simple, yet make a huge statement with their pop of color. Plus, they are covered in sprinkles. How can you not like sprinkles. My husband likes to joke that I would “bedazzle” anything and everything, so that’s probably also why I love them so.

These were made for a baby shower with the theme “About to Pop.” I’m pretty sure these bright pops of color fit right in!

Thanks for the order!

I was asked to make some angels for a joint 3rd birthday/baptism of 3 year old twins.

These turned out to be so much fun to make, especially since there was funfetti cake inside 🙂

For some reason, these angels keep reminding me of all the Whos in Whoville singing around the Christmas tree. Am I the only one who thinks that?

Maybe it’s just the fact that the Christmas season is definitely upon us, I love the holidays! And remember, cake pops make a great addition to your holiday party, so be sure to order your cake pops soon!

This past weekend was B’s 4th birthday party. Since her birthday is the day before Halloween, it makes sense to get another use out of the costumes and wear them to the party.

B’s costume? A ladybug.

Not only was she one of the cutest ladybugs that I’ve seen, but she loved her ladybug cake pops.

Thanks for the order, and happy, happy birthday B!
